And with that comes a handful that stand out among the rest, and we wanted to share one of them with you today. Just to let you know what I do: I have the rack on my Expedition all the time. I almost always have a demo bike on it (except when the weather is bad), and I keep the rack on year 'round.*
I really like the adjustability of the Shepard's hooks. Whether I have a kid's bike or full 29'er on it, I can fit what I need quickly. I have already had a few consumers walk up to me outside a shop where they see how fast I can rack my bike and they ask me what kind of rack it is.
Attached is a few shots of the rack in action. One day I took two kids to the trailhead and had a 20" and 24" on there — no prob.
I also love the internal locking set up.
And while we say our racks, much like bikes, are made to be used outside (not live outside), sometimes winter comes before you can get your rack off and then this happens.
