Spotlight on Greater Bike Access at Montreal's Olympic Park

By guest contributor, Emmanuel Goulet

Our distributor in Montreal, Halt Equipment, recently installed their first Bicycle Access Ramp at a very prominent and historically relevant location: Montreal Olympic Park at Nadia-Comaneci Square.

The bike ramp facilitates the ascent and descent of bicycles and simplifies the lives of cyclists going to the Tower area or the museum of Espace pour la vie.

It was in June 2017 that representatives at the Montreal Olympic Park first communicated with the Halt team to find a solution to the problem of accessibility and movement of cyclists in the staircases on their site.

Montreal Olympic Park chose the solution proposed by Halt for several reasons:

  • robustness and reliability of the product;
  • product with the best quality-price ratio in the market;
  • product that is easy to install and has little or no maintenance over time;
  • professional accompaniment of Halt's team.

Many cyclists have tried the bike ramp and have appreciated newsworthy additions, including Mr. Michel Labrecque, President of the Olympic Park.

We hope you will follow the lead of Olympic Park and take action to promote sustainable mobility.
