Cycle-On 2-Bike Hitch Rack – eBike Ready

The rack seems sturdy and well built. Do like the built in wheels. I would love for it to have had options for a 2" receiver without the adaptor sleeve as this is a point of instability. But the anti-wobble does a decent job. Without the sleeve, it would be better. It's another moisture capture point for rust and failure. But, so far, so good. Like the idea of the included ramp at this price point. A great feature. For now, simply hauling my 70 lb. bike onto the trays.

Perfect Rack for My Model Y and Trek E-Bikes

I just got the Saris Cycle-On rack and have already taken it out on two bike trips to local trails, and I couldn't be happier with it.

The rack arrives fully assembled in some of the most thoughtfully engineered cardboard packaging I've seen. Honestly, it took me longer to unpack it from the cardboard than to install it on my Model Y.

My two Trek e-bikes are no lightweights but getting them on and secured is simple and intuitive. Each bike gets three straps (one on each wheel and one on the seat post tube) and they tighten down solid. Zero rattling, zero movement, even on bumpy roads. The bikes feel completely locked in. Lots of clearance between the bikes the car avoids any touching.

Accessing my rear hatch with the bikes loaded is no problem. When I step on the release pedal, the rack stays put until I actually tilt it back, with no sudden drop or surprise movement.

When it's off the car, the rack folds down into a compact footprint, and the built-in wheels make rolling it around the garage super easy. It stores neatly without being a hassle.

If you have a Model Y and heavy e-bikes, this rack was made for you. Highly recommend!

I really liked the ramp and the wheels. I did have issue with tightening the straps around the tires. My previous Saris was much easier to tighten. I’m hoping that after some use it will get easier.

Great rack - works great with our e-bikes as it just gets too heavy to load them on the tailgate. The rack appears a solid quality build. Happy.
