H3 Series Drive Pulley

The original pulley cracked at the center and several blades were cracked, causing a tremendous amount of noise and vibration. I was able to install the replacement in just a few minutes and it is oh so quiet and smooth now! So, why did the orignal one fail after less than two years?

After 3 years of use the drive pulley on my H3 cracked radially in 4 places with a sudden loud cracking/crunching sound. I ordered a replacement pulley on Saris' website which took 5 business days to arrive. Replacing the pulley took about 20 minutes and no special tools are required. Before loosening the tension bolt be sure to measure the distance between the washers found on each end of the tension spring. When tightening the tension bolt you'll want to adjust it back to this distance.

Glad I could get a replacement part. After ~4 years my existing drive pulley fractured.
