the rack is very sturdy and heavily built (metal frame and wheel holders). have had on the truck for 6 months now. The only issue is the wheel straps are very week/thin plastic and snap off with any downward pressure. I have had two of these break off. Saris support is great and has ordered replacements however like everything else these are on back order

We purchased an E-bike for my wife and that was the good news. After having the bike delivered to us we discovered that our existing bike rack would not be compatible with the 60 lbs E-bike. After searching for an appropriate rack that would accommodate her bike I came across the Saris MHS rack. The rack itself is very heavy duty. It will easily fit both of our bikes very securely. With our previous rack I always kept one eye on the rear view mirror to watch the bikes to see if they were going to fall off. With the Saris MHS rack i can confidently drive with a knowledge that our bikes are very secure. This is a bike rack that will last us a long time. The customer service was very good with their advice on the different racks.
