I have an add-on tray and wanted to change it to direct mount. this is exactly what i need. on its face it is expensive but it is on-par with what is charged in the quality bike hitch rack market.I am grateful that the fasteners are metric - all of the other fasteners on the rack are metric - everything in the bike industry is metric now if a bike person has any tools they have metric hex wrenches. Saris probably wants to reach a wider international market than Liberia and Myanmar.
