Rebuild kit for MHS Duo Bike tray ratcheting arms.

The kit itself is identical to original. Just wish the teeth of the ratchet as well as the pawls on the arm were more robust to prevent wearing out so quickly. Also, instructions to replace were a little confusing. Lastly, I suspect to prevent premature wear of the ratchet, I'll need to apply less force on the arm when securing the ebikes.
Like another reviewer said the kit does not contain all the parts to repair the ratchet mechanism. It contains the gear plate but does not contain the pawl mechanism that engages it. Considering these are the 2 parts that probably malfunction 99% of the time they should be included.
Only contains 1/2 the parts to fix a stripped ratchet. Parts for the arm (second photo) are not included making this worthless.

They are all getting stripped out. I will have to fix all 4 bike carriers and I have only had the rack for 3 months. Poor construction.
