Not usable
It’s too narrow/small for the hole on my rack and it did not include the two washers that the picture and description indicate comes with the pin. Either way, I still have no way to attach this expensive rack to my car even though I have used it for three years. My next rack with be a Thule cause I think they are made better.
Product arrived quickly and works great!
Ordered the part and then found my original one within 20 minutes of placing the order and although it was after business hours and I called and sent an email immediately to cancel the order 36 hours later you sent me an email saying that the part had already shipped, which was completely an untruth! So when the part arrived via USPS, I declined the delivery and had it immediately returned to you with the proper documentation and wrote on the outside of the package, the sequence of numbers that you told me would help the Warehouse credit my account. Three weeks nearly later I am still waiting for the credit and the USPS actually sent me a confirmation that the part was returned to you delivered promptly! Very poor customer service.
Works great! I had to use a tap to chase the internal threads on the hitch tite. But I wonder if the threads got damaged in the first place by the excessive amount of left-right rocking caused by the SuperClamp tilting base. When I am on the road it looks very distressing in my rear view mirror. I have tried tightening the bolt on the tilting base but then the rack is not able to tilt from one of its three positions to another.
