SuperClamp G4 2-Bike Hitch Rack

I selected the rack because its 1 1/4" and had good reviews. Switched from an original Inno that clamped both wheels. This is just as solid. Very easy to operate and works well for both a road bike and eMTB, though it's only just long enough for my XL Orbea Rise. One thing to note - it sticks out a lot more from the back of the car than the old rack or a Kuat when empty because it rotates around the center of the rack, but a positive from that - I can open the back of my Subaru Crosstrek without lowering the rack

Well made and secure bike rack. Securely holds two 29er bikes. Is easily adjusted to different bike sizes and has plenty of clearance between bikes. For the price the quality, durability and ease of use cannot be beat.

Best rack I have had yet!

I have now had a couple of Saris racks, and I have to say that the SuperClamp G4 is really something else. To begin with, if you are looking at this and thinking it doesn't seem like the bike is on there securely, it really is. I was blown away at how well the single front wheel clamp works with the rear wheel strap. I have an e-bike, which is actually fairly heavy, and I take the battery and all luggage off before I mount it. When I mount that sucker, it only gets tighter as we go along. Any sort of shifting around, and that wheel clamp just ratchets down even more. When I get home, it's on more securely than when I put it on there, and when I put it on there it was actually fairly secure.

Installation is fairly easy. The rack flips up when it needs to be stowed out of the way, and it tilts down even with bikes on it when you need access. I really, really appreciate the ease of use. You can tell that the build quality is fantastic. The wheel cups adjust for various sizes of wheel, though both of my bikes work well in the default position, and it just really is a well-designed, well put together rack.

I suppose the one complaint that I could possibly think of is that it tends to squeak when there's a bike on it and it's rocking, but I'll be honest, I don't think I've ever had a rack that didn't in some way. Well done, Saris, I really appreciate this one.

I like the rack functionality and it is rock steady when installed. I didn't give it 5 starts because when I mount my bike the front tire doesn't fit down in the saddle. It is touching the front stop and the rear stop but not the actual rack surface below. This was not mentioned in any of the videos I watched prior to purchase. I'm not sure I like that fit but if I move the rear stop then the tire doesn't touch the front stop and that's not good either.
