My first shot at setting this trainer up did not go well. Are there limitations on tire or wheel size? I couldn't seem to get my Surly Cross Check to fit onto the trainer
So far (a handful of rides in) I have not had any issues. Set up was easy… the course and workout selections are awesome. Really helps the time pass and make the long rides more enjoyable.
I bought the M2 but didn't work for my bike even get the adapter when I was Ready to use it The M2 make a lot of noise and Feel like My tire was getting force I contact Customer service to let them know about the issue and that I want It to return it and Get other advice about was the right trainer For my bike verything was Good til they told I gotta pay for the shipping I think this is bad Guarantee since I only got my equipment for a week of so and hope I get My refund Because they also Say that if All part not return which I send they can refuse To refund And Send back the items To me
First bike trainer I've owned, so I don't have any comparison, but I'm enjoying it so far. Rode it once with my normal hybrid tires and it was okay, once I swapped to the Saris Training Tire, it was awesome! I can't stress enough that you really need a training tire of some sort, this Saris one was night and day. Update the firmware before calibrating it too, the original factory setting was nuts and I barely reached the 21MPH benchmark the first time. Only complaint is that I had to borrow my daughter's iPad to calibrate it, the utility app has not been updated for use on the current Android OS. Saris, please fix that!
The trainer is good. The directions and assembly are not. The pivot bolt does not slide right into place as per the video. I had to fight it. And I am a bike wrench. Bottom line... good product. Bad support.
