There is a place where function and form collide. Where practical becomes practically gallery–worthy. And this is the place where the Bones rack was conceived by Saris and famed Italian designer Fabio Pedrini. Awarded 4.5 out of 5 stars from Bicycling Magazine, Bones has proven that it's more than just another rear–mounted car rack, it's a tested statement of style, design, convenience and durability.
The three-dimensional product configuration of the Bones rack is a registered trademark of Saris Cycling Group, Inc.

This is a solid bike rack. It is easy to assemble and put on the trunk. IThis is our second one. The strap ends do get rusted - I wish they made them of stainless steel. Replacements parts are expensive. The straps for the bikes are grey on the inside and they will start becoming scruffy after a few years. So you may have to use some tape on it to protect the bike. Even with these drawbacks which can be fixed by Saris, it is a confident bike rack to have if you go long distance on the highways.

I had to change the configuration of the “bones” a few times to get the best set up but I like the customization aspect and like the rack a lot. I also have a solo rack that it quicker for when I just take the one bike.
