five star review since they deleted my one star review (suspicious that there weren’t any before… hoping they put my old review back up. BEWARE THE RETURN POLICY! i returned this product because i didn’t trust it to stay put on bumpy back roads and paid SEVENTY DOLLARS in return shipping. 1/3 the cost of the product! do not recommend purchasing from this company. as a midwesterner, disappointed to see fellow midwesterners describe how much they’ll help you like their product and then make it incredibly difficult to return. ridiculous, 0/10, recommend purchasing from REI unless you want to throw almost a hundred dollars down the drain with your purchase.

Easy to install and easy to use.

This is a solid bike rack. It is easy to assemble and put on the trunk. IThis is our second one. The strap ends do get rusted - I wish they made them of stainless steel. Replacements parts are expensive. The straps for the bikes are grey on the inside and they will start becoming scruffy after a few years. So you may have to use some tape on it to protect the bike. Even with these drawbacks which can be fixed by Saris, it is a confident bike rack to have if you go long distance on the highways.
