I’ve only used the bike rack twice, and during the second use one of the molded plastic wheel trays broke. When I reached out to Saris, they told me the tray wasn’t covered under warranty—even though the rack was less than two months old. The rack itself works well, but I’m really disappointed that a brand‑new part isn’t supported under their warranty.coverage on a "new" part.

Unless you are very careful with this heavy four bike rack, the Hitch Tite has a tendency to fall out before inserting the rack into the receiver. I also noticed that the hitch bolt will loosen up on a frequent basis. Make sure to re-tighten as needed.

It is a really nice rack that allows use with many types of bikes, road bikes, e bikes,even fat tire bikes I find it works with all of them. Hitch weight is manageable for taking on and off the SUV and I like the simplicity of attaching bikes, even has hefty built-in locking cables for securing bikes while you grab a post ride brew and bite.
This bike rack has EVERYTHING you need to transport up to 4 bikes and keep them secured when you need to leave your car with the bikes in the rack.
