I bought my Saris hitch-mounted rack over 10 years ago and it's still going strong. Great for 2 regular bikes 35 lbs each.

This is now the second Bones 2-bike hitch rack I have purchased. My first one was still working just fine over the 8 years I had it (but was recently damaged when another car hit my parked car). I had used that rack regularly every summer, including driving with 2 bikes on it for several hundred miles. After looking again at the Saris racks, I called the company twice to ask about features of other racks...the team was always so helpful, including going into the showroom to directly measure a component on a rack I had a question about. I ultimately purchased the Bones 2 bike hitch again! Made in the USA, great product, great service, great price. Go Saris!! I always recommend Saris to anyone who asks about bike racks!!!

This rack is at a great price point for what it provides. The important parts are all strong enough to make me not worry about hauling a pair of bikes around. The adjustable arms allows me to keep this on and still park in the garage (without bikes attached). I ended up lining the straps with some padding to grip the bikes a bit more delicately.
Switched out a heavier bike rack for this one. Can take on and off my Honda-CRV relatively easy. Cannot lift heavy items.
