It’s manufactured improperly. Can only fit a 1mm spacer instead of 1.85 for a 9 speed bike. I ruined threads on original. They are too thin on the edge and brittle. As did another reviewer. Received this one for around 70$. Same day I received it, it went on sale on Amazon authorized Saris seller for 29$. Customer service refused to price match their own official Amazon store. Not a great first time experience.
A little got diagram with the proper installation with the wave spring with been helpful
My 9-speed cassette and spacer left barely fit on the original freehub that came with my Sairs H3 and 1/16 of the outer edge broke off during tightening (see pic). This replacement fit slightly better. Added plenty of lube made sure not to over-tighten. Two months no problems so far.
